Army, 5 Years

I was an ROTC Lt out of OU. Did 2 years in Germany, a wonderful year in southeast asia (got my Bronzy and came home), and 2 years with the 82nd Airborne Division in N.C. Made Captain and Left to join Merrill Lynch and stayed 30years. Retired in 2004. Yes, I am glad I got to serve. Went back through refresher training around my 65th birthday and made 2 more jumps so I could add a C47 to my list. Busted my butt. End of that.

Our Asher High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Asher High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Asher are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
