Cherie (Cheryl) Reid (Herbert)

Class of 1964

Cherie was awarded the 2012 National Citizenship Award. The award was given for her website www.kidsthankavet.com which is now a nation wide organization and approved for teachers by the National Education Association. Cherie has worked with and for veterans for years and has created the only completed memorial for the fallen soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The memorial was displayed at Arlington National Cemetery.
