The Golf event will be on Thursday, August 18th, and will be about $75.00 per person. Need to know who will participating in this event ASAP. There will be a gathering after golf, around 3:30-4:00 p.m. at Red Rocks Country Club House. Cash bar and food available. Open to anyone . Contact is: Mike Reinhardt at mreinhardt@att.net.
The Friday night get-together, August 19th, will be 5:30 pm at Fuzzies in Old Town Arvada. Fuzzies is owned by an Arvada West graduate. Contact is: Kendra Cheese at cheesekendra@yahoo.com.
The tour of the school is Friday, August 19th, at 3:30 pm. There is no charge for this event.
There may be a Saturday, August 20th, late morning, early afternoon tour of Rado Distillery in Arvada if people would like another opportunity to get together. We can arrange for purchase of your own food if there is interest.
The dinner will be at the Denver West Marriott Saturday, August 20th, inside at 7:00 pm. Cocktails and other beverages will be available for additional purchase. We need to provide our count and deposit to the Marriott on July 15th. We are trying to hold costs to a minimum, however if people do not commit early they may face an additional surcharge. There is NO picnic on Sunday, August 21st.
The INITIAL deposit will be $65.00 per attendee by July 15th. Those deposits can be made out to if sending a check and mailed to CG Enterprises, P O Box 4835, Englewood, CO 80155-4835. If you need to pay by credit card there will be 3% surcharge and Cindi will send them an invoice via email, with instructions on how to pay. Contact is: Cynthia Robeck Olsen at bolsen4639@aol.com.
There are several venues if attendees would like to get together on Sunday for additional friend time. We can make arrangements as we see how the paid RSVP's come in.
The regular room rates at the Marriott run about $215 per night so they have extended us quite a discount and when people book their rooms they need only mention the AWHS 50th Reunion. The Marriott has available rooms for $139 a single per night for AWHS Reunion attendees. If you have any issues, you should let us know.
We will begin Facebook next week (Sunday, May 29th) on the Arvada West High School Foundation site. You can ask people to utilize that as well.
