About Me	My wife and children are my life, strength, and reason for being. Without these guys there would be no me. Hey there my name is Mike and my story is like anyone else’s that has been overweight most if not all their life. Growing up I was the chubby kid people liked to make fun of. Through high school and young adulthood my weight went up and down like a roller coaster. I could never stick with anything for the long run, diets or training. Now I am in my 30's, weight is up into the 370's doctors are telling me I am going to be dead before 50. Still I continued on a downward spiral. So now it is 2007 and I can't even tie my shoes without passing out, WOW! I had enough, I was almost 400lbs and ready for a change. A change I can stick with and keep going at it. I joined a gym and got some books on nutrition. Dropped about 70 lbs. Got down to about 300 lbs. Things were going good. Then can the summer of '08 and our family vacation. I fell hard off the wagon. Stopped the gym and plumped back up 330 lbs. Man this sucked and I needed help. In comes Beachbody with one of their commercials and brings me back from the brink. I ordered power 90. Made it through it, got down to 260 lbs. Awesome!! Now I have found P90X and am plugging away at it, best thing I could have started. As of today I am down to 228 pounds. I have finished my second round of P90X and am starting round 3. I have also found the craziest workout put on DVD’s, INSANITY, finished 1 round of that also.
