Navy, 20+ Years
Joined the Naval Reserves out of high school & became a Hospital Corpsman.
In 1989, when to Aviation Officer Candidate School (AOCS) & then on to Naval Flight School.
I earned my Wings of Gold in 1991 & selected to fly the MH-53E Sea Dragon. I flew helicopter for 9 years before transitioning to the C-130T & UC-12B cargo planes. I retired in 2011 from the New Orleans C-12 Detachment as the Officer-in-Charge. New Orleans is also where I married my lovely wife & soulmate.
