| About Me | In 1999, Jennifer Kerr earned a B.A. in Political Science from Morgan State University where she was a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Grant-Brent Promethean Kappa Tau and The Golden Key National Honors Society. Jennifer was the treasurer of the Thurgood Marshall Pre-law Society and, after graduation, returned to Morgan State to endow the Jennifer Kerr Scholarship Fund for single parents interested in pursuing a pre-law education. In 2005, Jennifer earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland Law School. As a student intern with The Legal Aid Bureau in Baltimore she gained extensive experience in all the processes of litigation and legal representation including research, pleadings, document review, administrative advocacy and trial procedure. As an advocate, Jennifer represented low-income clients in court. While at the University of Maryland, Jennifer re-activated the Clarence Darrow Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and remains an active member of the organization. Jennifer established Maryland Independent Paralegal Services to help small firms and solo practitioners throughout the nation meet the critical need for professional paralegal services at a reasonable cost.
