About Me	Married the boy I was engaged to in high school, Allen Vann. We moved to Glasgow Montana where he was stationed in the Air Force. We had our first son, Parnell, while we were there. After discharge in 1964 Allen went to work for Southwestern Bell and we moved to Camden,Ar. In 1966 he was transferred to Magnolia. In 1968 we had our second son, Tommy. In 1972 I started college here in Magnolia and graduated in 1974 the first time and started work as a registered nurse. Worked for a surgeon for a number of years, then worked for a hospital in La. as O.R. supervisor & Director of nursing. Worked in home health for a number of years as an area supervisor over 12 counties in southwest AR. Established a certified nurse assistant training school in Magnolia in 2009, work part-time now at SAU in student health services and have returned to college to earn my BSN, hope to have th...(read more)
