Marine Corps, 8 Years
Joined US Marine Corps in 1997 served over seas for a greater portion of my 2 inlistments. Was a Marine security guard for US Embassy's Riga Latvia, Cairo Egypt, Kampala Uganda. Did one tour to Irag for OIF II played a major part in Battle for Fallujah providing tactical landing pads and saving lives. 100 months served with the highest gratitude for the US Marine Corps. Sempi Fidelis.

U.S. Army (WAC) I service 3 years and 3 months in the Women's Army Corps before the Army was combined in the 1970's. My service duties were in the area of secretarial and communications. I spent 2 years in Munich, Germany and my service time was extended 3 months when the Berlin Wall was built.

Our Arkansas City High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Arkansas City High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Arkansas City are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
