Favorite School Memory	The Senior Play with so many of us being a part of the first musical of the school, "Bye, Bye, Birdie".
About Me	After high school I attended Henderson and graduated with a BSE. I married Allen Schwab, who was in the Army and we spent four years in Germany. I received my Masters from USC while there and taught school for two years. We had our oldest son there. We then went to Kentucky, Louisiana, and finally settled in Franklin, TN. We had another son in Kentucky, another son in Louisiana, and another son in Tennessee. That made four sons to raise. I ran a business for six years and then I was elected the Superintendent of Schools for our county. Allen passed away in 1991. I later married Jerry Sharber who had 3 daughters. We then had a daughter together. I was Superintendent for 8 years, then worked for the Tennessee Department of Education, served as Superintendent for one year, then worked as a principal for 3 years, and I am once again the Superintendent where I have been for 3 years. My husband was mayor here for 14 years, but now he is retired and does what he wants to do. I have been very blessed and continue to be grateful for ...(read more)
