Troy passed away unexpectedly at age 33, from an unfortunate electrical shock he received while repairing an air conditioning unit at his home. The shock sent his heart into a vibrating state but unfortunately due to an unknown enlarged heart condition his heart could not restart itself and eventually just stopped resulting in his death. Troy was a hard working, fun, loving son, brother, and friend to all those that knew him. To all his niece's he was known as The Great Uncle T and was a proud loving father to Brookelyn Nicole Drake. He was cremated and his ashes spread along the banks of the Embarras River in Hugo, Illinois. You can find his memorial plaque and tree at Arcola's Moore Park by the softball diamond entrance.
