About	Obituary for Alan Lowell Emert Alan Lowell Emert, of Black, MO, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 7 days. He was born March 4, 1943, in Granite City, IL, a son of the late Lowell Floyd and Helen Josephine (Temple) Emert. On March 16, 1963, Alan was united in marriage to Monica Elaine Jackson who survives. Also surviving are five children, Michael Alan Emert and wife Barbara, Traci Elaine White and husband Eric of Stephens, AR, Jimmy Emert and fiancée Keri of Iron Mountain, MO, Craig Emert and wife Erin of Pilot Knob, MO, and Brian Emert of Farmington, MO; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, a brother Robert Emert and wife Margaret of St. Louis, MO, and many more loving family members and friends. Alan is preceded in rest by his parents, and a sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Ed Dombroski. For many years Alan operated his own tax and accountant business. He was also a past member of the Elks Lodge, AV Country Club, past member of the Hospital Advisory Board, played on and coached many softball teams, loved golf and bowling, he was a believer in God and he would watch his church on tv, and the most important thing to Alan was his family. Alan Lowell Emert will be missed by all who blessed to know and love him.
