Quit school in 1964, joined U S Army Jan, 1965 on my 17th birthday sent to Germany. Finished school in 1965 through GED
Feels like I missed a lot by dropping. Got an AA thru University of Maryland. In Vietnam from from Jun 1967 until Jan 1969. Stayed in Army until June 1986, retired then 5 years later called back to active duty for 6 months Feb - Sep 1991 for Dessert Storm, back to collage became a reg. Nurse. My career ended after 7 years - worked in State mental Hospital here in So Indiana. Patient thought it was time for a career change so he broke my neck in a slight altercation, placed on disability, nursing career ended!!! Use a walker or a cane to get around, but I’m still kicken’ just not very hi!
