Per Roger's obituary notice in a newspaper, he was survived by his parents and his brother, Phillip. He was just 35 years old. The cause of death was not stated. Roger was a native of San Jose, employed as a consultant for a brewing company, and a member of the Court of St. George. Roger was also an actor at Renaissance Fairs for many years.

According to Ancestry.com, Roger was married to Kathleen L. Forthun in San Mateo County. She was born in Los Angeles County. The exact locations and dates of these events are unknown at this time. There wasn't any mention of Sharon in Roger's newspaper obituary and research into her whereabouts was in vain.
