Here is Mrs. Studebaker's (slightly edited) online obituary: "Helen Ruth Studebaker February 7, 1921 - January 3, 2008 Teacher, environmentalist, and docent for the Academy of Sciences Helen is survived by her loving husband David, children, and grandchildren. A public celebration of her life was held on Jan. 19, 2008 at the Burlingame Recreation Center. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Environmental Defense, Memorial Donation Helen Studebaker, 1875 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20009." Mrs. Logsdon Studebaker and her husband were married in Los Angeles County, but the exact city and date are unknown at this time. A photo of her is on the obituary without her signature glasses.
