About Mr. McKee was the department head of the Safety Education Department in the mid-60's. He used his middle name, Downing, as his first name at Stanford University as well as at Aragon. He had a sense of humor that is confirmed by a photo found of him at Stanford dancing while wearing a hula skirt. The link is below.

In the 1963 yearbook, this quote supports his humorous reputation: "likes working around the house...dislikes students shooting off the "Bazoos" in class...warns "Come to class and keep your Bazoos closed." Editor's note: A bazoo is a mouth.
