About	"Max Enriquez Nevarez died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Auburn, Calif. He was 67. Max was born Sept. 9, 1944, in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico, to Max and Socorro Enriquez Nevarez. The eldest of nine children, Max and his family moved to San Mateo, Calif., in 1956. Max attended local schools and graduated from Aragon High School. Following his graduation, he joined the U.S. Army, and before being deployed, he married Lynda McMullen. While enlisted, Max gained his U.S. citizenship. Following a tour of duty in Vietnam, Max began his career with PG&E in the Bay Area where his three children were born. In 1982, Max married Ellen Burns and requested a transfer to Grass Valley. They moved to Grass Valley in 1983, and retired in 2004."
