I knew Dinah since the fifth grade. We went to elementary school together. I was always the fastest runner in our school (Highlands School in San Mateo), at least through the fourth grade that is. When she showed up in the fifth grade, she beat me in a race and I was devastated. I also had a massive crush on her. She had those beautiful bangs and was so cute. What a sweetheart.
