From Dan's obituary: "....Passed away suddenly in Auburn, CA where he resided. He was born in Denver, CO and moved to San Mateo, CA where he was raised. He graduated from Aragon High School and went on to serve in Vietnam in the United States Army. He owned Smitty's and Sons Upholstery in Auburn and Smitty's Auto Tops in Belmont. Dan had a love for life, family and friends. He lived for fishing and car races and his sons."
Dan was survived by his two sons Darin and Ryan, his ex-wife Charmaine (1971 grad who is on Facebook), and many friends. His cause of death was a heart attack.
