About	From the link below: "Born in New York, she moved to San Mateo, California with her family at the age of 12 where she attended high school and junior college. Lorraine loved to be with children and accomplished her dream of becoming a teacher shortly after earning her teaching credential from Chico State University in 1970. After graduation, she moved to Pacific Grove where she worked as a teacher and raised her two children. In 1999, she moved back to Chico with her husband. She taught kindergarten at Patten School in Fort Ord and also worked as a substitute teacher for elementary schools in the Monterey area. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit."
