He was a 6th generation San Franciscan. He will be remembered most for all of his great adventures and storytelling. He fought for pedestrian rights in the streets of SF and became known as "Ped Man." He survived a shark attack. He tackled mountains, glaciers, and rough seas. He stared down cougars, scaled cliffs, and he was never afraid to speak his mind. There's a huge hole in the universe where he once was. He will be seriously missed. Rest in peace Pop. We love you very much."
