About	Below is an excerpt of Mr. Knee's obituary: "He was for many years an English instructor and tennis coach at Aragon High School in San Mateo and was particularly pleased and gratified by the many students who returned to thank him for his efforts on their behalf. He was a graduate of Brown University and the University of Wisconsin and a Navy veteran of World War II. An avid sports fan, he was also a consistent courtside spectator of Stanford basketball. As the son and grandson of florists, he grew up with an appreciation for horticulture and became an accomplished cultivator of roses which he freely shared."
