Janet Elaine Shoaf was born on 7 Aug 2048 in San Francisco, California. When she was about 2 years old she moved to a new house in San Mateo, California. She attended 4 years of high school at Aragon High in San Mateo and Graduated in 1966. At the age of 15 she was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes. She married Andrew Wolf III in San Mateo in 1968 and moved to his home town of Santa Rosa in 1968. She had two sons, Steve born Jun 1973 and John born in May 1975. Jan Died at home as a result of her diabetes on 5 Dec 1983. We celebrated Thanksgiving with her at our Father's home that year. By that time her kidneys had both failed her and she was almost blind. Shortly after that dinner, she wrote and said that she had decided to stop taking any more medication or treatments for her diabetes and she died 3 days later. I am her older brother David. I graduated from Aragon High School in 1965. I should have posted this obituary for my sister years ago. Our younger brother Roger, who graduated from Aragon in 1978 suffered a stroke in 2022 and is living out the remainder of his life in a rest home in Sacramento. I am still married to the girl I met at Sonoma State in 1973 and am living in American Fork, Utah. Our mother died on the way home from the hospital in April of 1981 and our father died in 1997. Jan was a wonderful friend and sister. I look forward to seeing her again when I leave this world.
