Here is the text Lyle wrote on another alumni site: "...have worked at San Jose State for over 22 years and I manage a unit called Distribution Services, which is a fancy way of saying that I manage Shipping/Receiving and the Mailroom. It's actually a lot of fun as every day is different. I also get to work with a bunch of students, and it's great to see them graduate and to get to feel as we have had at least a small part of their success." Here is an excerpt from his longer obituary: " Lyle was an usher at St John the Baptist church for many years. "He was involved in football and baseball from the time he caught his first ball for the remainder of his life. He coached Little League in Milpitas for years. Lyle, a left hander, loved playing catch with his great grandson Jordon (another lefty!!)"

Just finished reading Lyle's obituary and what a wonderful life he had with his wife, children, grand children and one great grandchild. During high school he was a fun loving guy who I didn't get to know very well. RIP Lyle
