Norman and I both graduated from Aragon High School, Class of '67 and we then both attended and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I remember one fast drive north from San Luis Obispo to San Mateo on the 101 with speed as Norman was driving!
Norman Gerald Bale was born at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA, on October 19, 1948, and passed away in Tulare, CA, at the age of 60 on April 9, 2009. His parents were Glen Newton Bale (previously deceased) and Elizabeth M (Garbini) Bale. He grew up in San Mateo, CA and graduated from Aragon High School in 1967. He later graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with an Engineering Degree. He then worked for several local firms as a senior Industrial Engineer. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Bale of Half Moon Bay, two sisters Virginia Bale of Berkeley, CA and Glenna Bailey of Oregon. His was preceded in death by his twin sister Noreen Bale Simmons.
