"Stephen 'Steve' Chapman peacefully passed away on May 9, 2016 at the age of 68 in San Mateo, California following a courageous 12-year battle with cancer."
"Steve was born in San Francisco and graduated from Aragon High School in San Mateo. He graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Pacific and then earned his MS in Engineering at UCLA in 1970."
"Steve was known lovingly to his friends as 'MacGyver' for his ability to find solutions to complex problems using ordinary objects…he could fix, rig, or solve just about anything.
