Mr. Heacock was a business teacher at Aragon and San Mateo High. Below is an excerpt from his obituary.
"Ormond attended The University of Nebraska in Lincoln for two years before joining the Army in World War II, where he served in the Pacific. He later received both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California. He married a 1943 graduate of Kearney High School, Helen Moore, on September 30, 1950. They soon moved to Belmont where they resided for over 50 years. Ormond was a devoted husband and father, and was a high school teacher at San Mateo High School and Aragon High School for 35 years."
