She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her death. Julie was born Aug. 10, 1946, in Wichita, Kan., and was adopted by James and Jewel McManus of San Francisco. After the loss of Jewel, James met and married Angela Grange Cavagnaro-Jordon. Both of them had a daughter of their own and they had three more children together. The family was raised in San Mateo, Calif., around many aunts, uncles and extended family. Julie graduated from high school in 1964 and attended junior college. Her sister, Angela, is listed here under the 1968 class.
