About	Susie died suddenly from a Pulmonary Embolism. She was married to Gregg Harvey from her class. Susan led an exemplary life. She was born in Napa and grew up in San Mateo. Susie graduated from Aragon High School, and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physical Education from San Jose State University. She retired from teaching Health and Physical Education for over 30 years in the Hillsborough School District. Susie also coached Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Track. Her love of teaching children continued after retirement, as she was a substitute teacher and a nature education docent at Filoli."
