Valerie passed away from brain cancer. This was confirmed by her brother, Scott. Cancer first began in her pituitary gland and had surgery for that in her early teens. Valerie held a PhD in Art Therapy and taught others how to use art as such. She was married with no children.
Valerie was born in San Joaquin County and passed away in Spokane, Washington. She once lived in Catalonia, Spain.
