About	1951-1991 "Sharon Ann Cygan died of lung cancer in November 1991 at her home in Arlington, VA. She had lived in the Washington area since 1987 and, at the time of her death, was an editor with Redefinition, a book publishing company. Sharon belonged to Sigma Delta Chi and Kappa Tau Alpha journalism societies and Alcoholics Anonymous. Her previous employment as a technical editor was in San Diego where she graduated from San Diego State University and in Zurich. Survivors include her companion Susan Knapp of Arlington.
