From the article: "A man who drowned at Lake Del Valle in Livermore has been identified as Clarke Stillman Elliott of Alamo. Elliott, 46, drowned Sunday night, apparently while on a solitary night swim. East Bay Regional Park Police said his body was found Wednesday afternoon about 3:45 p.m. at a spot close to where he had piled his clothes at the Shady Oak Picnic Area."
Clarke was born in 1953 in Washington state. He was married to Deborah Solomon in Contra Costa County, but the date is unknown.
Clarke gave a moving commencement address at the 1971 graduation ceremony.
