About	Lakeville - David J. Shimkus, 32 of Lakeville, formerly of Halifax died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 19, at Bridgewater Farm Supply in Bridgewater. Born in Brockton, son of John and Paula J. (Scanlon) Shimkus of Lakeville, he attended Halifax schools and graduated from Apponequet Regional High School in 1988. He earned an associate's degree in business administration at Fisher College. He enjoyed karaoke and also had been a singer in bands.
