What is Kathi Seifert known for?

Kathi P. Seifert is a prominent American businesswoman. She has been featured in both Forbes magazine and Fortune magazine for her impressive achievements in the sphere of business, recognized as one of the most powerful women in the domain.

Seifert was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. She graduated from Appleton West High School before earning her bachelor's degree in marketing and management at Valparaiso University in Indiana in 1971. Post her graduation, she embarked on her remarkable career by doing marketing research for Procter & Gamble. Subsequently, she worked in a marketing role with Fort Howard Paper.

Her career at Kimberly Clark began on March 27, 1978, when she joined the company to sell paper goods to motels and other businesses. After two years, she shifted towards marketing consumer products for the company. By 1991, Seifert had risen to the position of Executive Vice President at Kimberly Clark, making her one of the highest paid officers in the company. During her tenure, she successfully managed Kimberly Clark's global personal care business before retiring in 2004.

Post her retirement, Seifert served as the chairwoman of the consulting firm Pinnacle Perspectives, LLC. Moreover, she has been a Director of Revlon Inc. since 2006. Seifert also has been a member of the board of directors for SuperValu, serving in the capacities of a member of the Executive Personnel and Compensation Committee and the Audit Committee. She extends her skills and expertise to Eli Lilly and Company's board as well, participating in their Audit and Public Policy and Compliance committees.

Seifert's contributions to business and leadership were recognized by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, which conferred upon her an honorary Doctorate in 2014. She continues to leave a significant impact in the world of business, guiding and inspiring future leaders through her work and accomplishments.
