Favorite School Memory	Since my kids may read this, I'll have to keep it clean! I loved performing, competing in show choir.
About Me	After I challenged out of high school in 1995, I started college.I had my first son in 1997. In 1999, I moved to Missouri for a little over a year, started a band produced a few albums on an independent label, and dropped off the face of the planet! I came back to California in 2000, and met my husband, who I married in 2002 while he was stationed at 29 Palms. We had our second child in 2006, also a boy. Our youngest was diagnosed with Autism in 2008, and that led me to my current path of Autism Advocacy. My older son was diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder and ADHD in 2009, Since then, I have done quite a bit of public speaking within the Autism Community, and currently serve on the Board of Directors of the Autism Society of America, San Diego Chapter. I am also affiliated with TACA and ReSpectrum Community, two nonprofit organizations dedicated to assisting individuals and families living with Autism and related disorders. I've written a few articles for Exceptional Parent magazine pertaining to raising children with special needs, and am currently going back to school to pursue a degree in occupational therapy.
