About | Jeffrey J. Boratko, 39, of New Sewickley Township, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at home. Born Nov. 13, 1973, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Susan (Artman) Boratko, of New Sewickley Township, and John Boratko. Jeff was an avid sports fan who loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and NASCAR. He was a 1992 graduate of Apollo-Ridge High School and received a technical degree in CAD from Triangle Technical School, which he applied in his job as a draftsman designer for PennDOT for the last 14 years. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins, baseball cards, going to the casino and working on his Jeeps. Jeff truly appreciated all those who helped him over the years, especially his co-workers and friends at PennDOT. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his nieces, nephew and his special friends, Becky and Patrick. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sisters, Ronna Stewart and her husband, Jason, of Cranberry Township, and Stacy Lauffer and her husband, Chris, of Greensburg; his three uncles, Glenn Artman, of Apollo, Edward Artman, of North Apollo, and Bert Boratko, of Florida; his nieces, Ashley Stewart and Abigale Lauffer; and his nephew, Alexander Stewart. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Evelyn Artman; and his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Mary Boratko .
