About Me	My life since graduating has centered mainly on academia -- first as a student then as a teacher. I got turned on by the ancient Greeks and Romans in college and made them the focus of my higher education, a decision for which I have no regrets as it has brought me intellectual enrichment and gainful employment. I worked my way into the Community College system and eventually landed a permanent position at the Cambridge campus of Anoka Ramsey Community Coillege, where I teach Philosophy and Humanities. In addition, I started a school of Taekwondo in 1984, which I maintain to this day in St. Paul. I hate running a business, but I still love to teach this marvelous discipline. For a while I was a family man, raising two step daughters and two daughters of my own, but that ship hit an iceberg and broke up. My own daughters are now 10 and 12 and I spend considerable quality time with them. We share a passion for the wilderness, which has been fed by frequent trips into the BWCAW and Quetico, as well as freqent visits to my cabin in Ontario (160 acres of Canadian wilderness).
