About | Dolinsky, Neil Leonard 50, died suddenly on May 29, 2009. Preceded in death by father, Aron Dolinsky. Survived by wife of 27 years, Cathie Mahar; daughters, Luci and Helen; mother, Beverly; brother, Steven (Amy Dordek); sister, Karen (Ron Sallerson); sister-in-law, Alison (Alan Marshall); brothers-in-law, Kenneth Mahar (Rhondda), Andrew Mahar; Aunt, Harriet Londer Hilecher and loving nieces, nephews and cousins in both Australia and America. Neil was born and raised in St. Cloud, MN and graduated from the University of Denver before moving to Minneapolis, where he received his Chartered Financial Analyst certification. He was Vice President at C.C. Dunnavan & Co., and Co-Founder/CFO of Rollouts Inc. He moved with his family to Australia in 1998, and most recently served as Project Manager for InterOil, headquartered in Cairns, Australia. Neil was multi-talented and had many interests, which included chess, astronomy, mathematics and music of all kinds. His passion for the trombone resulted in his performance in the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra for many years. He was also an avid flyer, having earned his pilot's license a decade ago. Neil had a brilliant and curious mind and will be deeply missed by his friends, colleagues and extended family who respected and adored him for his patience, generous spirit and compassion. Burial will take place in Australia. Shiva will be held June 8th and 9th at 7 p.m. at B'nai Emet Synagogue. A memorial service will be held at B'nai Emet Synagogue on Monday, June 22nd, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bev & Aron Dolinsky Fund at B'nai Emet Synagogue, 3115 Ottawa Ave. S.
