About Me Timmie Clardy, a former police officer, was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee but has been a resident of Murfreesboro, TN for the past 20 years. He was a 1985 graduate from Antioch High School, where he lettered in football, wrestling and track. In his three year football career with the Antioch Bears as a starter, he helped lead Antioch to three Lions Club Bowls. Coach Clardy split his time on Special Teams and Offensivelinemen. On defense he played weak side linebacker. For his excellence on the football field he was awarded an All-Honorable Mention by the TSSAA in 1985 and he also received the Coaches Award for physical and mental toughness. He attended Middle Tennessee State University where he played as a Red shirt freshman for legendary Coach Boots Donnelly and was a member of the 1985 Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Championship team. In 1995, Coach Clardy began his coaching career as an assistant coach for the LaVergne Wolverines in the junior pro league. In 2005, he began his semi-pro amateur football career in the MTFL as the assistant offensive line coach for the Murfreesboro Red Devils. He helped lead the Red Devils to the playoffs where they reached the quarterfinals. Also, in 2005, his career began in the NAFL as the offensive line coach for the Nashville Storm, that rookie year included a 1st and 2nd team All American players on the offensive line, who helped lead the Storm to the NAFL Conference Championship and played in the National Championship coming up just short of taking home the National Championship. In 2007, he helped coach the defensive line with an All American player on that defensive front, Coach Clardy lead his defensive line and the offensive line that mentioned season to the third round playoffs. In 2008, Coach Clardy again led the offensive line to their third round playoffs with several All Americans on that offensive front. Coach Clardy and the line with the team went 14-0. The Storm won the South Regional Conference Championship and went to Miami to play for the National Championship where the team again fell short of the win. Coach Clardy was selected to coach the offensive line in the NAFL All-Stars South game, which they won. In 2010, Coach Clardy began his fifth season with the Nashville Storm, whose regular season on the road record was 24-0, as an offensive line coach. The Nashville Storm Football Team are the 2010 NAFL National Champions, the 2011 PSFL League Champions and 2011 BCS Semi-Pro National Champions with a record of 11-3, also 30-2 on the road since 2006. The Nashville Storm went on to win the 2011 PSFL League Championship and the 2011 BCS National Championship. In 2010, Coach Clardy began his season with Christiana Middle School as offensive line coach. Christiana made it to the County Championship losing against Oakland Middle 18-12. Coach Clardy continued on by completing his Certification and testing for TSSAA in Coaching Principles and Sports First Aid to be placed on the Tennessee State register for TSSAA. During Coach Clardy sixth year with the Nashville Storm, the 2012 season ended with a disappointment with a 13-1 record. The Nashville Storm football team won the NFA League Championship but lost in the Semi-Pro BCS Championship to Racine Raiders out of Wisconsin. In 2013, Coach Clardy had the opportunity to coach the offensive and defensive line on a professional level with the Nashville Storm in an arena game against the Owensboro Rage out of Owensboro, Ky. After learning the rules and regulations of the game within four weeks the Storm took a loss from a hard fought game with the final score of 29-34. The Nashville Storm won the 2013 NFA League Championship in Daytona, FL. The 2014 season the Nashville Storm loss the GDFL quarter final. The Storm is currently working to obtain the 2015 GDFL National Championship. 2016 season, the Nashville Storm lost the GDFL National Championship to the Oklahoma Thunders 29-16; coach Clardy immediately retired after coaching 11 season straight in his Minor League football career. Coach Clardy is currently coaching at Christiana Middle School located in Rutherford Co. TN, where he started at in April of 2010; he also coached at Oakland Middle for two seasons 20...(read more)
