After graduating from the University of New Haven in 1969 and joined the Connecticut Army National Guard. At the time it was HHC Det 1 and several fellow AHS grads like Jose Rivera and Brian Horrigan. I spent 30 years 6 months and during that time I served several TDY assignments with the US Army in Germany and Sweden. I retired as a Colonel 0-6. During my career I was the Battalion Commander of the 1st Battalion 102d Infantry, 3d Battalion 102d Infantry and the 1st Battalion 169th Infantry. I also served as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-3 and the USPFO for the State of Connecticut.
