About Timothy J. “Tim” Foltz, 66, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. Born in Lebanon, PA on June 24, 1956, Tim was the son of Marian Foltz and the late Thomas B. Foltz.

Tim was a graduate of Annville-Cleona High School (Class President) in 1974, and York College of Pennsylvania in 1978. He relocated to Atlanta over 30 years ago. Tim was retired from UPS where he had worked for 37 years and made many decades-long friendships. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Simone and his family and friends, playing trivia with his UPS buddies, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Braves, having good times on Lake Lanier, cooking, and telling jokes.

Classmate Memories

Being the class president and an academic, Tim and I didn’t have a lot in common. But I do have one memory of him- He mentioned one time that he wanted to be an air traffic controller. This was probably in junior high and I was impressed because I didn’t even know what that was! I thought “This guy must really know a lot”. And that’s probably true but it was also because I knew very little.
I don’t know what happened to that dream because according to his obit he had a long career with UPS. Sorry to see he’s passed.
