About	Andrew "Andy" M. Grier, 60, of Myerstown, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Dugan) Grier, to whom he was married for 20 years. Born in Lebanon, on October 23, 1955, Andrew was a son of the late John W., Jr. and Evelyn (Pickel) Grier. Andrew was employed at Pennsylvania American Water Company for 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, RC cars, eating peanut butter cups, and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by seven children, Andrew M. Grier, Jr., husband of Kristie, Steven Grier, husband of Amanda, Derek Goodman, husband of Jessica, Bryant Goodman, Tonya Goodman and her partner Jarrod Smith, Jarrett Grier, and William Grier; ten grandchildren; a brother, John W. Grier, III; three sisters, Donna Miller, wife of Joseph, Lori Gonzalez, wife of Charles, and Ann Gates, wife of Peter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Andy was such an intense, driven guy. Always tinkering with automobile engines and building things like mini-bikes. We hung out for quite a few years during high school but like with so many we lost contact after school. Gone too soon.
