About Me	I completed my Bachelor's degree in History at NIU. Shortly thereafter I enlisted in the USAF. I completed the Russian Language course at the Defense Language Institute at the Presideo of Monterey. I was a Russian Crytologic Linguist at the Medina RSOC at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. I completed this tour, and was awarded a Joint Service Achievement Medal for providing quality strategic and operational level intelligence to national level decision makers. It was at this time during a language immersion to St. Petersburg, Russia, that I met my future wife: Anya. We met in 2004 and after fighting with the immigration system, we finally got her to America in 2007 which is when we were married. In the mean time, I completed a 4 month deployment to the 763rd Expeditionary Reconnasaince Squadron at Al Udeid AB, Qatar. Then I was tasked for retraining into the airborne crytologic career field. I had to learn another language and was sent to DLI again, this time to learn Uzbek. I completed my Uzbek language training in 2008 and was transferred to the 55th Wing, Offutt AFB, NE. I became basic mission qualified to fly on the RC-135 type aircraft while deployed to the 763 ERS in Qatar in 2009. Since then I have deployed twice more to other area...(read more)
