About Me	We owned The Irish Inn in the Shawnee National Forest through October 31, 2012. There are business and fan (group) pages on Facebook for The Irish Inn, which we will leave up as long as Facebook allows. My first media job was staffing the press office when Richard M. Nixon was running for President. I was just a teenager, and there I was with all the big network correspondents. I had to work and attend university, and spent my first three years of professional work with AT&T (Western Electric), then another sixteen years in international public relations, radio/TV production, and marketing. I owned a B&B in a beautiful forest for the twelve years. I am the author of of one book, poetry, and short stories published in several languages, and hope to write more as time frees up in future years. As an adult student I earned a few degrees and believe in lifelong learning. I am studying Spanish at the moment, in hope of becoming fluent in America’s second language. My husband and I love to travel and enjoy new adventures, and hope to visit the seventh continent in the near future. ...(read more)
