Willie Paul Scott, 84, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born August 7, 1931 in Jacksonville, FL to the late William & Hazel Butler Scott.
Willie had lived in Jacksonville all of his life, was a graduate of Andrew Jackson class of 1948 and retired from Jefferson Smurfit Paper Mill after 42 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Oceanway and was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason with William B Barnett Lodge #187 F & AM.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Nancy [Nancy Savage , class of '67]; son, Danny Scott; daughter, Carolyn Dawley (John); grandchildren, Angie and Michael; 6 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road 32218, with Dr. Tom Drury officiating. Interment with military honors and Masonic Rites will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
