Edgewood Ave. Florida Times-Union, May 27, 2015 Herman 'Woody' Woodward died during the evening on May 7, 2015, at the age of 65, in his home of Jacksonville, FL. Woody was born on December 4, 1949 to Helen and Hubert Woodward Sr. His siblings included Hubert Jr./"Buddy", Anita, James/"Jimmy", Roy, Edna Kay and Richard/"Ricky" Kay. He married Shelley June Delk in 1970 and together raised their sons Robert and Michael. He very much loved Robert's only daughter, his granddaughter, Halle. He was in the Coast Guard during war time and established a career as an electronic technician. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with Shelley and his buddies at the "watering hole". His death was preceded by his mother Helen Kay, his father Hubert Sr. and his eldest brother "Buddy".
