About	Cremated Janice Tillman Green, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 4, 1949 and daughter of the late Robert & Libby Tillman. In 1967, Janice graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and is active in her class, planning reunions and get togethers. She was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church and retired in 1992 from Nissan. Janice has had an active role in the North Shore Neighborhood Association, CPAC and loved promoting North Shore. Janice was a free spirit, loved being around people and enjoyed children and the Jaguars. She loved anything “outdoors”, sand, gardening and beach. Preceded in death by her parents and son, Jason Kent. Surviving family include her husband of 39 years, Jim Green; 1 brother: Bobby & Christine Tillman; nephew & niece: Rob Tillman and Ryann Tillman and their mother, Rachell Tillman; and many more nephews and nieces. Special family friends who are like children and grandchildren: Chad & Annelisa Starling and their sons, Caleb & Cody Starling. Celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 N. Main Street with Rev. Chris A. Coram and Chad Starling, officiating.
