Carla was a member of our Andrew Jackson original alumni committee for a very long time. She will be missed.

Carla has been my friend since Kirby Smith days. We only spoke a few times a year since I live out of town but when we did it was just like yesterday. She always made of coming to my sister June Bird Pace’s house to visit me when I was in Jax. Sometimes we would meet for a meal. I’m really going to miss her. We almost shared the same birthday, hers March 12 and mine March 11. I truly pray she trusted Christ as her Savior and I will see her again in Heaven. Marie Bird McGill Mappin 3/11/45
