Stephen Craig White
Class of 1967
Steve White (Sugar Bear) Played football for the Barons in 65/66 and with an injury to his knee in summer hell week could not play in 67. He did however; took the position of equipment manager and remained with the team throughout the season. In 66 he became the first defensive line man, in school history to intercept a pass and run 40 yards to score a touch down. He intercepted the throw of Danny Wayne Fife of Clarkston High School, who later was a 2nd round draft pick of the 1971 amateur draft as a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and later played to the Twins.
