About Me	My Life after School Went to three high schools. Red Bluff, Anderson Valley, and Los Molinos.Graduated from Los Molinos in 1965. Worked for U.S. Forest Service, and red bluff Molding. February of 1966 I got drafted, went to fort Ord for basic. After seven days I reenlisted to get the school I wanted. GOT IT I went to fort Gordon Georgia for six months for electronics repair. After that I was sent to Goppingen Germany at Cooke Barracks to 4th armored divison, 144th signal Battalion. I was their for three years. I was extended for nine more months so they could find a replacement for me. I had four MOS's ( my jobs) I was an E-5 In charge of the Battalion Electronics repair shop. During this time I received orders for Viet Nam twice. General Westmoreland canceled them both times. Said he needed me there. While in Germany I met a beautiful young lady and we were married. We had four children, three boys Roland, Uli, Bobby, and one daughter Angela.We have now been married for 43 years. After discharge I worked in an egg carton plant in Red Bluff for 35 years. I retired from there Jan. 1, 2001 on disability. since then we have traveled a lot and have a few antique cars. We returned to Germany every two or three years also. used to hunt and fish a lot but now because of disabilities don't get to go to often.I sure miss it. We have four grandsons and...(read more)
