About	Michael Mannerino was the junior high and high school band director through 1969. His marching band direction led Anderson H.S. to state competition titles and individual medals for many band members. "Mike" ensured band members knew the important role they played at school and how music could enhance their lives. Band students lost a positive role model when he left teaching in 1969. His lasting legacy were the examples shown us of being honest, hard-working and ethical. Mr. Mannerino passed 08/06/2011. (By Phil Crea, Timpanist, 1968-1969)
